5 Booking Decisions That Would Have Made WWE Fastlane Much Better

3. United States Championship Match

The United States Championship seems incredibly under-utilized ever since Chris Jericho beat Roman Reigns on RAW to win the title. I was quite excited for this as this could be Y2J’s last title reign, EVER.

If this is Jericho’s last title reign, I think disappointment is a good word to use. He has been in no matches and there has been no feuds surrounding it. Let us not forget the 30-day clause that if a wrestler hasn’t defended the title in 30 days then he must vacate the title. I am a rule follower, and this rule was broken big time when Brock Lesnar had the WWE Championship.

Jericho did appear at the event to cost Owens the title but it would have been nice to see him defend the title in some way before that. At least they should have had Jericho defend the title the night after on RAW. We need to see him defend it!

Chris Jericho is still in good condition and has proven that he can hang with the best. As of now, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens are set to face off at WrestleMania for the United States championship. Being as creative have literally done nothing with the title, I believe they should put it on Kevin Owens as he is one of the best things, if not THE best thing, going on RAW currently.

I feel that putting the belt on KO will put some prestige and actual utilization of the belt, and he can take it off of one of the best performers in the industry.

  1. I most definitely agree that Braun Strowman should not have been pinned. If Undertaker had caused a distraction or even gotten Roman Reigns disqualified, not only would Strowman have remained undefeated but Taker would have one-upped Roman for eliminating him at the Rumble. It would have added fuel to their feud and upcoming Wrestlemania match. All bases would have been covered.

  2. So you want Owens to win the US Title, but also retain the Universal? Three of your 5 arguments you clearly are grabbing at straws
