5 Reasons Why WrestleMania 33 Should Be The Undertaker’s Last Match

4) Frees Up a Spot

Yes, The Undertaker is a special attraction and is a big draw when it comes to “The Showcase of Immortals.” However, we are in the “New Era” of wrestling, and at some point the WWE will have to start relying on their newer stars to become the draw at such an important pay-per-view.

If the WWE has no faith in their new stars to carry a pay-per-view of that magnitude, they need to start building them up early and prepare them for such a daunting, but honorable task. Not only that there is quite a few wrestlers/divisions that deserve the spotlight on the main card: the tag team division and the women’s division on both RAW and SmackDown Live.

Those two divisions have helped add a unique aspect to their respective brand, whether it be storylines or the wrestling. Both divisions deserve a spot on the MAIN card on “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” NOT on the pre-show, they deserve better than that.

Not only that, but American Alpha and the SmackDown women’s division on the main card sounds like a pretty good idea. While sad that The Undertaker won’t be on the card whenever he retires, it opens up new opportunities for the men and women that are in it for the long haul.
