3) More Triple H Influence
We have already seen this starting with the reports of Triple H taking control of 205 Live from Vince. Recent rumors also suggest that Triple H will be gaining more creative power as we get closer to the launch of the XFL.

Triple H has been praised for his work in NXT. He seems to consistently book great angles and matches for their Takeover events.
Obviously, it is a much different thing to be in charge of 6 hours of weekly television (RAW, Smackdown and 205 Live). It will be interesting to see how Triple H does as he gains more and more responsibility in the creative room over the next few years.
Will we see RAW and Smackdown Live change for the better? Will the NXT call-ups receive better treatment on the main roster? Things to keep our eyes on if Triple H does get more power within the company.
This is of course all dependent on Vince McMahon and how much he is still around. I think that slowly we might be seeing Triple H’s influence grow in WWE over the next few years.
4) Ronda Rousey’s Transition To Pro-Wrestling And The Impact On The Women’s Division
There has already been some major news in WWE in 2018 with the announcement that Ronda Rousey is signing with the company. Her appearance at the Royal Rumble garnered WWE a lot of mainstream attention and there is no doubt that her first match will also garner a lot of buzz.
A major story will be how it affects the WWE Women’s division moving forward. Love or hate Ronda, she is a mainstream Superstar. Dave Meltzer recently reported that Ronda was the most googled female athlete in the United States in 2017. This comes in a year where she didn’t have a single fight. It is clear that she will be bringing a lot of attention along with her.
Now, some fans have argued that Ronda is taking the spot of the other Women on the roster and will be taking away from them. I disagree with that and think that her signing with WWE is going to end up being a major positive for the Women’s division. WWE will be giving her a ton of attention when she starts appearing on weekly television. As a result, the other females that are in the storylines and matches with her will be getting more television time and exposure. WWE’s Women’s division has been doing incredible over the past few years and I think the attention that Ronda will bring to the division will help things even more.
Regardless of if you agree or disagree with me on her impact, Ronda’s transition to Pro-Wrestling is going to generate some major headlines in 2018. It will be interesting to see what happens and how she does.
