Stephanie McMahon made a major announcement this week on Monday Night RAW. WWE will be hosting the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match next month. Stephanie announced the news in the middle of the ring and hugged the Women’s roster to close RAW.

According to a report from Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the RAW Women’s division were left in the dark for Stephanie’s announcement.
Satin says that the Women in the ring with Stephanie did not know what she was going to announce. This means that their reactions were genuine.

He also says that only a few people knew what Stephanie’s big announcement was going to be and they even kept it from some of the production team. This was to avoid any leaks.
