Sasha Banks and Charlotte Make History

Hell in a Cell – October 30th 2016

Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair made history in October of 2016 when they became the first ever females to step inside the Hell in a Cell structure.

The match was a prime example of how much Women’s wrestling has grown over the past year or so in WWE. Women used to be called ‘Divas’ and now are competing in one of the most brutal matches the company has to offer.

This match was also the main event of the night. Even though it was billed as a ‘triple main-event’ between the 3 cell matches, Sasha and Charlotte went on last. This is the first time two women main evented a WWE (main roster) PPV, which is a big achievement in itself.

Say what you want about the match or the feud between Sasha and Charlotte. It is hard to argue against the history that this match made!!
