Shane McMahon Returns

Vince McMahon presented his daughter Stephanie with the “Vincent J. McMahon Legacy of Excellence” award on an episode of RAW.

Out of nowhere: the “HERE COMES THE MONEY” music hits and the crowd goes absolutely bonkers. Shane McMahon returning to WWE for the first time since 2009:

Shane came out firing, telling Stephanie and her husband Triple H that they have been running WWE into the ground. He says he is BACK and that he wants to control RAW.

This eventually led to Shane McMahon facing the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 in Hell in a Cell. It also brought to the forefront a family battle between Stephanie and Shane for control of WWE. This led to some entertaining television and the 2016 brand split.
