With the news of Matt and Jeff Hardy leaving TNA, speculation is rampant that the duo could be returning to WWE. There a number of great options for them if they did return to the company. Here are 5 booking scenarios that we could see happening if the Hardy Boyz return to WWE.

1) Tag Team Title Run

Let’s be honest with ourselves, WWE’s tag team division isn’t the strongest that it has ever been. Both RAW and Smackdown could use a shot in the arm.

Why not have Matt and Jeff return (under the original Hardy Boyz gimmick) and join one of the tag team divisions. Either RAW or Smackdown would get a boost from the high-profile return of the Hardy Boyz.

Other than the nostalgia factor of the duo returning, it would also provide some great matches. The Hardy Boyz vs American Alpha? The Hardy Boyz vs Anderson and Gallows? Tons of great options.

I also don’t think it would hurt to see them get another tag team title reign. The nostalgia will be awesome, but as we saw with the Dudley Boyz in 2015/2016, that can fade if they don’t do anything with them. With the current tag team division as it stands, I don’t think giving the Hardy Boyz another tag team title reign would be a bad idea.
