4) Split Them Up
A lot of talk since Matt and Jeff have been rumored to be returning to WWE has been booking scenarios involving them as a tag team. Why not split them up between RAW and Smackdown?

Both Matt and Jeff have been successful as singles competitors in the past and there is no reason why they both couldn’t do so again.
Many fans argue that Jeff Hardy throughout their careers has proven himself as the more popular brother. Based on his crowd reactions and merchandise sales in his previous stints with WWE, it is hard to argue against that.
Over the past year or so, Matt Hardy has really gained some momentum on his own with the Broken Matt gimmick. There is no doubt that he has gotten the wrestling world talking and it could be argued that his stock right now is the highest that it’s been in the past 5 years or so.
I could easily see WWE using them both separately if they were to return to the company. Jeff returning is already going to be a huge deal based on his massive fan-base. With the momentum that Matt has gained over the past year, WWE could easily have him return as a singles act.
Maybe have Jeff on RAW and Matt on Smackdown or vise versa. It would be a way to bolster the rosters of both brands and would provide many new match opportunities.
