Reason #5: Could Still Lead To A Match At Wrestlemania
Another thing that some fans are overlooking is that this could still lead to a match between Roman Reigns and John Cena at Wrestlemania.

Why can’t this turn into a rivalry that leads to a handful of matches? If the storyline is on fire and WWE continues to build it properly, I don’t think many fans would have a problem with this leading to more matches between the two.
Just because it is happening at No Mercy doesn’t mean that it is the only time it will happen. Something tells me WWE has a long-term plan for these two.
There HAS to be a reason why WWE is booking this match now, instead of Wrestlemania.
Maybe Cena takes the first match but under some sketchy circumstances. Reigns is able to get the win back at Survivor Series or another Pay-Per-View. This leads to the third and final clash at Wrestlemania.
Like I said, if the storyline is clicking and the fans are buying it, why not extend this a couple more matches?
I would argue that a rivalry between Cena and Reigns deserves more than just a single match against one another. These are two of the biggest names and two of the most polarizing figures in the company today. Why not turn it into one of the best rivalries that we have seen in the past few years?
