7th) John Cena

– Days Held – 380 days.

Cena won the title from Edge at Unforgiven 2006 in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. He would hold onto the title for over a year. He eventually was forced to vacate the belt after suffering a torn pectoral muscle. This happened during a match against Mr. Kennedy on RAW while he tried to execute a hip toss.

Don’t feel too bad for Cena, he made a surprise return several months later to win the Royal Rumble. Love or hate John Cena, that was an awesome moment and something that nobody expected!

6th) CM Punk

– Days Held: 434 days.

CM Punk defeated Alberto Del Rio at Survivor Series 2011 to win the title. He would go on to hold the title for 434 days. This included some fantastic matches against Daniel Bryan and some entertaining moments on the microphone. He eventually lost the belt to the Rock at the 2013 Royal Rumble.

It was an impressive run for Punk and one of the most impressive Championship reigns of all-time considering the time that he was able to do it.

5th) Pedro Morales

– Days Held – 1,027 days

Pedro Morales won the title from Ivan Koloff on February 8th, 1971. This made him the 4th person to ever hold the title.

He held the belt for 1,027 days, earning him the 5th longest title reign of all time. He lost the title to Stan Stasiak on December 1st, 1973.
