1) Backstage Note On Wrestlemania 39
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the working idea in WWE is that it will be Roman Reigns vs The Rock at Wrestlemania 39. He also notes that The Rock wants to do the match.
Here is what Meltzer said:
So the situation with The Rock is exactly what you’d think. The belief is that The Rock wants to do it. They believe that is probably main event, but they are all very aware that there are things that could get in the way and that might not happen, but the working idea is Roman Reigns against The Rock for L.A. But, it is not etched in stone by any means.
That’s been the plan for months, and months, and months, and nothing has changed. They’re of the opinion that he won’t back out and he really wants it, because time is running out on him.
My Take:
- This would be an incredible feud and match. My hopes are not up though as The Rock is one of the busiest dudes on the planet and things can change.
