Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Star Is NOT Injured
After RAW this week, there was some concern that Mickie James might have been injured. During an interview with Alex McCarthy, Mickie revealed that she did NOT suffer a concussion in the match. She also confirmed that she is fine.
The referee thought that she was hurt and called the match early:
My Take:
- This is great news. I would rather the referee be overly cautious than not cautious enough in a situation like this.
4) WWE Getting Into The Fitness Niche?
It looks like WWE is getting into the fitness game. The company recently applied for two trademarks for the term “FYtnessNutrYtion”.
Here are what the trademarks were filed for:
Goods & Services – “Online advertising and marketing services in the field of fitness equipment, exercise equipment, fitness services, fitness facilities, fitness clothing and shoes, exercise clothing and shoes,fitness training, nutrition supplements, weight-loss programs; healthy-living tips, advice, training and nutrition, gyms, health clubs”
Goods & Services: “Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely, blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”
My Take:
- We will have to check on this in a few months and see what came from it. I am interested to see what happens though. “FYtnessNutrYtion” is a weird name at first glance.
