Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) NXT Takeover Could Take Place In The ThunderDome
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been some talk in WWE about hosting the next NXT Takeover event in the ThunderDome.
WWE ran Takeover: 30 at Full Sail University but it looks like they will be changing things up for this next show.
My Take:
- I think that this would be a smart decision. The ThunderDome is much bigger and they can make the show feel bigger than if it was at Full Sail.
4) Sasha Banks’ Status
Bayley attacked Sasha Banks on the latest episode of Smackdown. After this happened, fans have been wondering if this was WWE’s way to write Sasha off television for another few weeks.
In an update, WWE says that Sasha was just “shaken up” and did not suffer any further injuries. This hints that she won’t be kept off television for a long period of time:
UPDATE: @SashaBanksWWE was shaken up in last night’s attack by @itsBayleyWWE, but no further injuries were sustained. Stay tuned to WWE digital and social as the story continues to develop.
My Take:
- I feel like this means we are definitely getting Sasha vs Bayley at Hell in a Cell. If they were going to keep her off television until the Royal Rumble, they likely would have had Bayley send her to the hospital again.
