Rumor Roundup: RAW Women’s Division Plans, Sasha Banks’ Status, More

3) How The Street Profits Are Viewed Backstage

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful asked people backstage in WWE about who are the hardest working Superstars behind-the-scenes. The Street Profits are said to be two of the hardest working guys in the company.

Here is what Sapp wrote:

Fightful polled a series of WWE wrestlers about who among their peers they’ve noticed working to improve their spots and get better in the ring. After we’d hear a name, we’d end up conferring with other members of the roster to see how they felt.

“AOP and Street Profits work very hard and try to get better every week, and they’re all good guys,” said one wrestler on the Raw brand back in March, around the time Rezar ended up getting injured.

My Take:

  • I give The Street Profits a lot of credit as they have really improved over the past year or so. They are fun on the mic and seem to always get better in the ring. I am excited about their future.

2) Brock Lesnar’s UFC Status

There has been some buzz lately about Brock Lesnar potentially returning to the UFC. Dana White squashed those rumors on Saturday night.

Dana says that he hasn’t heard from Brock and doesn’t expect to see him back in the octagon:

“The guy has had a long killer career. He actually came in and became a UFC heavyweight champ and the guy’s made a lot of money. I just don’t see him coming back over here again at his age.”

My Take:

  • Brock has made enough money that it doesn’t seem worth it. He is likely just taking the year off and resting up.
