5) Creative Issues With WWE’s Payback PPV
A big rumor going around is that WWE is planning the ‘Payback’ PPV for one week after Summerslam (August 30th). According to Ringside News, WWE’s plans for this PPV are a complete mess right now.
Here is what the site wrote:
Ringside News has learned that plans for Payback are all over the place. Plans are changing on such a rapid basis that by the time we could report a planned match odds are it would change by the time you read it.
A member of the creative team close to the situation noted to us “who the f*ck knows what’s up for Payback, it changes three times a day.”
My Take:
- I feel like they should scrap the Payback PPV. There should be more than just one week to build to a PPV. It seems like they are setting themslves up for disaster.
4) Tommaso Ciampa To Be Involved In Retribution?
There is some speculation going around that Tommaso Ciampa could be a member of WWE’s new Retribution faction.
Several fans noted on Twitter that they heard Ciampa’s voice during a recent ‘Retribution’ segment on Smackdown. Ciampa has also recently wiped his social media accounts, similar to Dominik Dijakovic (who is also rumored for the group):
My Take:
- I would like to see Ciampa in this group. I have wanted to see him on the main roster for a while now as he has done everything possible to do in NXT.
