Rumor Roundup: The Plans For Survivor Series, Creative Issues With WWE Payback, More

1) The Plans For Survivor Series

According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE is going to keep the same format for this year’s edition of the Survivor Series PPV.

That would be RAW vs Smackdown vs NXT. Here is what he said when talking about the new ‘Retribution’ faction:

The reason they got five at the moment is because that’s a very good fit for Survivor Series team if they decide to go that route. However, Survivor Series is still planned to be RAW vs. SmackDown vs. NXT. So it’s essentially just an option they have on the table.”

Survivor Series is currently planned for November 22nd, 2020.

My Take:

  • I really enjoyed the format of Survivor Series last year and I am happy about this. In my early Survivor Series predictions, I have Keith Lee vs Braun Strowman vs Drew McIntyre potentially happening. That would be a badass match. Same with Io Shirai vs Bayley vs Sasha Banks.
