Rumor Roundup: The Upcoming Plans For Randy Orton, The WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) How Many Fans Could Be In Attendance Of Wrestlemania 37

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, we could see around 14,000 fans in attendance of Wrestlemania 37 in Tampa Bay. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL have been selling that amount of tickets for their home games this year.

Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Ringside News):

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been selling about 14,000 tickets to Raymond James Stadium for home games. You know, obviously as we all know Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, he’s bought and paid for essentially. So, they’re gonna be able to do whatever they wanna do. I presume this will be their big thing of the first WWE show with fans.”

My Take:

  • It will be nice to have some fans in attendance for Wrestlemania. This will bring the atmosphere that we are used to. As long as they can do it safely, I am down.

4) The Plan For The 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame Ceremony

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is currently planning to do the Hall of Fame ceremony virtually this year.

Here is what Meltzer said (h/t to Wrestletalk):

“They’re gonna announce more activities. The plan is to do a Hall of Fame, the last I heard, virtually, without fans, but that could change. That might be tough.”

My Take:

  • This makes sense. I am sure that WWE will find a way to make it really special for the inductees.
