5) NXT Superstars Frustrated About Training Return
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), there are some frustrated Superstars at the WWE Performance Center. This due to WWE only testing them for COVID-19 once a week.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Plenty of frustrated names at the WWE Performance Center, which has been tradition of late since the pandemic started. Trainees are back at the Performance Center full-time, training five days a week in the midst of the pandemic. Those that we’ve spoken to at the Performance Center say that they are typically only Covid-19 tested once a week and train the rest of the week. WWE had initially been doing virtual classes, before a few days a week.
My Take:
- Hopefully WWE starts testing them more. It just takes one positive case for there to be another outbreak.
4) Matthew McConaughey Hints At Doing Something With WWE
Matthew McConaughey was recently interviewed on the Better Together podcast. During this, he teased working with WWE in the future.
Here is what he said:
“I’ll say not too much ’cause as you know, can’t say too much about these things,” he said. “But it is something that interests me.”
My Take:
- This would be a major get for WWE. McConaughey is a massive name and it would be great to see him used in any capacity.
