1) Ricochet’s Future In WWE
Over the past few days, there has been a rumor about Ricochet’s future in WWE and his contract possibly expiring soon. In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update.
Meltzer says that Ricochet’s contract with WWE goes until 2024. Here is what he wrote:
Since this came up in controversy this past week, Ricochet’s contract here expires in the summer of 2024. He signed a five year deal when he moved to the main roster and the 2019 pre-COVID not wanting to lose anyone to AEW deals were the high point period as current deals seem to be lower probably with the exception of Mysterio because he got an offer from AEW that matched WWE’s offer so they had to go above and beyond.
My Take:
- I hope that WWE improves Ricochet’s booking over the next several months. He is someone who has a lot of talent and I would like to see them do more with him.
