3) Jay White’s Profile Removed From The NJPW Website
Over the past week or two, there has been a rumor about WWE being interested in signing Jay White.
Another twist to the story is that White has now been removed from NJPW’s website.
My Take:
- It could be a work but this is definitely interesting.
2) WWE’s Plan For India
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning for an eventual NXT India show that airs weekly.
Here is what the site wrote:
The plan is to eventually produce a weekly television show for India based around using the Indian wrestlers they’ve signed, similar to NXT U.K., except while NXT U.K. doesn’t bring in any serious money, the idea is this will since India is No. 2 behind the U.S. as far as how much money they already pay for WWE television rights
My Take:
- Seems like a smart move as they have a lot of Indian talent and the market is so large.
