1) Another Match No Longer Planned For Wrestlemania 36
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is no longer planning Roman Reigns vs The Fiend for Wrestlemania 36.
Reigns vs The Fiend has been rumored for a while to be the Universal Championship match at Wrestlemania 36. Meltzer says that WWE has made the decision to go in a different direction.
It is now unclear what WWE’s plans are for the Universal Title match at the event. Meltzer speculated that this could mean we are getting Reigns vs Goldberg at the event. Or, we could see John Cena get a Universal Title shot now that he isn’t planned to face Elias anymore.
My Take:
- I do not want to see Goldberg as Universal Champion. I wouldn’t mind The Fiend vs John Cena for this event, with Roman getting another big match. This has definitely made things more interesting though.
