Vince McMahon Sent The Young Bucks A Message Before Their Match Against The Hardy Boyz

At this years Ring Of Honor event: ‘Supercard of Honor XI’, the Young Bucks were able to defeat the Hardy’s in a ladder match. One night later at Wrestlemania 33, the Hardy Boyz defeated 3 other teams to become the RAW Tag Team Champions..

The Young Bucks were recently guests on the “Edge And Christian’s Pod Of Awesomeness”, where they told an awesome story.

The Bucks revealed that they were one of the few people in the world that knew that the Hardy’s were going to WWE. They felt a big responsibility to not hurt them in their ladder match.

Here is what Matt Jackson had to say:

“We actually felt a lot of responsibility there too. We knew what they were doing the next night. We were two of the few guys in the world that actually knew about it. Nobody else in Ring Of Honor that night knew about it except us. So we were like, ‘we can’t hurt these guys.’ What would that look like on us? That was definitely weighing on our hearts. We were like ‘we gotta take care of these guys.’ They’ve got a big night tomorrow.”

They also revealed Vince McMahon’s message to them:

“[Matt Hardy] comes up to the ring and he’s like, ‘Vince McMahon called me this morning and said, ‘hey I know these Young Buck kids are good, but could you please tell them to take care of you guys?”

If you are wondering, the Bucks also mention that they are under contract for over a year. They did say ‘never say never’ in the podcast about a potential jump to WWE one day. I guess we will have to wait and see.
