Wrestling Isn’t Fake, Just Ask These WWE Stars

3) Taz

In the same realm as Aries, former ECW and WWE star Taz was unhappy with the fake comments from Dana White about professional wrestling.

He took to Twitter to respond to his comments and says that calling wrestling fake is an insult to every wrestler around the world:

Here were some of his tweets:

Make sure not to avoid the word fake if you ever run into “The Human Suplex Machine”. Taz puts it perfectly that the word is an insult to anyone who has ever laced up a pair of boots considering what their bodies go through on a nightly basis.

4) Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks was interviewed by Sports Illustrated for their Extra Mustard section. She was asked what the biggest misconception about wrestling was.

Sasha says that she hates the word ‘fake’ because nothing they do is fake:

“I think the biggest misconception is that — I don’t know, that I guess people think it’s fake. When it’s not, I get beat up every single week, I go home with bruises, always banged up, but it’s something that I love so much that I just I always keep pushing, it’s what I love”

She continued:

“People think that — I hate that, I hate that people think it’s fake but if they got in the ring and they took a bump like we do every single week, legit travel like we travel every single week they would so appreciate every thing we did.” (Source: Sports Illustrated)

This is a common theme. If a critic was to step inside of their shoes for a single day, I am sure they would have immense respect for all that wrestlers do.

Here are some more wrestlers who will argue that Wrestling Isn’t Fake.
