WWE taped the next few weeks of NXT television in Atlanta on Thursday night. Here are the spoilers for the next few weeks of NXT leading to Takeover: Philadelphia, which takes place the night before the Royal Rumble.
– Candice LeRae defeated Vanessa Borne in a dark match. Kassius Ohno defeated Raul Mendoza in a dark match.
– Shayna Baszler Defeated Dakota Kai in about a minute. Shayna continued to attack her after the match until Ember Moon made the save.
– Lars Sullivan defeated Lio Rush. After the match, Lars called out Killian Dain. He continued to beat down Rush.
– The Undisputed Era attacked SAnitY backstage. After Aleister Black and Roderick Strong came to confront them, an NXT Tag Team Title match was made: Black and Strong vs. Fish and O’Reilly.
– The Undisputed Era defeated Roderick Strong and Aleister Black to retain their titles. This came after a distraction from Adam Cole. William Regal announced Black vs. Cole in an Extreme Rules match at Takeover: Philly.
– Andrade “Cien” Almas defeated Kassius Ohno (non-title)
– Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss defeated Heavy Machinery
– Lacey Evans defeated Aliyah. After the match, Evans calls out Nikki Cross. Shayna Baszler ends up coming out and attacks Aliyah. Ember Moon made the save and challenged Baszler. William Regal confirmed Baszler vs. Moon for Takeover: Philly for the NXT Women’s Title.
– Roderick Strong defeated Fabian Aichner. After the match, Strong challenged Lars Sullivan to a match.
– The Authors of Pain defeated The Street Profits to become the number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles at Takeover Philly.
– No Way Jose defeated Cezar Bononi
– Bianca Belair defeated Luscious Latasha (independent wrestler)
– The Authors of Pain defeated two enhancement talents
– Johnny Gargano defeated The Velveteen Dream in what is said to have been a really good match.
