A bit of an interesting rumor to share with all of the talk circulating about Neville and his potential departure from WWE. As noted prior, one of the rumors going around is that Neville wants to build up his name around the world, similar to what Drew McIntyre did before joining NXT.
If this rumor is to believe, he isn’t the only person on the WWE roster that is considering a move elsewhere.
More WWE Stars Leaving?
The rumor comes to us from Joe Lanza on the VOW Flagship Podcast. He says that he knows for a fact that some WWE stars are asking Cody Rhodes for advice on leaving WWE. No specific names are mentioned so take with a grain of salt but it is an interesting topic of discussion. Here is what Lanza said on the podcast:
“[Cody] doesn’t have any plans on going to WWE anytime soon. There’s wrestlers in WWE going to him and getting advice on their own exit plans from the company. I know this for a fact, I can’t give you the names. I know that’s a bit of a d*ck tease [but] I can’t say the names but there’s wrestlers that go to him for advice on how to leave the company.”
With the amount of success that some wrestlers are having outside of WWE at the moment, we have to wonder if some WWE stars are thinking that they could do the same. The Bullet Club have shirts in Hot Topic stores and are proving that you don’t need to be in WWE to make money in wrestling. Maybe other WWE stars are starting to feel like they could do the same?
Any names tossed out would be purely speculation at this point but who do you think would be in the camp that are wondering how their careers could go outside WWE?
