4) New Smackdown Tag Team Champions! (That Was An Awesome Match)
After an awesome match, we saw new Smackdown Live Tag Team Champions. The Usos picked up a huge win to win their titles back. Both teams have such great chemistry and they always put on a show. Can’t believe this match wasn’t on the main card. Great stuff from both teams. Kevin Owens agrees:

5) Shawn Michaels Randomly Appeared…… As Colonel Sanders
You can’t make this stuff up. On the kickoff show for Summerslam, we saw a KFC commercial with several WWE stars including Dolph Ziggler, Enzo Amore, Becky Lynch and more. After the commercial aired, Shawn Michael’s music hit.
It wasn’t the HBK that fans were expecting, he was dressed as Colonel Sanders:

6) John Cena Snapped His Summerslam Losing Streak (Plus, The Fall of Corbin Continues)
John Cena faced off against Baron Corbin in the first match (of the main card) at Summerslam. The match had some hype coming in after Cena cost Corbin his Money in the Bank cash-in on Smackdown Live this week.
John Cena was able to pick up the win. With the victory, he snaps his Summerslam losing streak. Here is his history at the event over the past several years:
- 2017 – John Cena DEFEATED Baron Corbin
- 2016 – AJ Styles defeated John Cena.
- 2015 – Seth Rollins defeated John Cena to retain the WWE Heavyweight Championship. He also won Cena’s WWE United States Title.
- 2014 – Brock Lesnar defeated John Cena to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
- 2013 – Daniel Bryan defeated John Cena to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
- 2012 – CM Punk defeated John Cena and the Big Show to retain the WWE Championship.
- 2011 – CM Punk defeated John Cena to win the undisputed WWE Championship.
The fall of Corbin continues after losing his Money in the Bank briefcase last week. Looks like WWE is really halting his push.
