7) New Smackdown Women’s Champion! (And No Cash-In)
Summerslam saw a Smackdown Women’s Title match between Natalya and Naomi. The biggest rumor heading into the match was that we could see Carmella cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
Natalya ended up winning the title, making Naomi tap out to the Sharpshooter. We have a new Smackdown Women’s Champion:

8) Enzo Found A Way To Escape The Shark Cage!
In a battle of the Big’s, Summerslam saw Big Cass take on the Big Show. This match had a bit of a twist as Enzo Amore was locked in a shark cage above the ring.
For the first time, we saw someone escape from the shark cage! Enzo put on some baby oil and was able to fit through the bars in a funny moment:

Unfortunately for him, he was met with a big boot when he got to the ground from Big Cass. Cass ended up picking up the win.
9) Rusev Was SQUASHED
Summerslam featured a singles match between Rusev and Randy Orton. This is a feud that only began to develop over the past few weeks on Smackdown Live.
Rusev attacked Orton prior to the match. As soon as the bell rang, Orton hit Rusev with a massive RKO Outta Nowhere to win the match:
