10) The Bludgeon Brothers vs The New Day – Smackdown Tag Team Championships
The Smackdown Tag Team Championship match has been made official. The Bludgeon Brothers will defend against the New Day. This came after the New Day won the four-team tag team tournament on Smackdown.
I think that the Bludgeon Brothers will end up retaining. They have been built up pretty strong and I don’t see them losing just yet. While saying that, I think their feud with the New Day will extend into the next PPV event, Hell in a Cell. I don’t see this being just a one-match feud.
Official Prediction: The Bludgeon Brothers retain.
9) The Elias Segment
It has been confirmed that Elias will be hosting a concert during the middle of Summerslam on Sunday night. WWE is teasing that Elias will be playing his “single greatest song to date.”
I think that we all know how this one is going to go. Elias will be interrupted by Bobby Lashley since they have been feuding. Lashley will hit Elias with a couple of moves to end the segment.
Official Prediction: Elias gets smashed by Lashley.
8) Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE United States Championship
Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura has been confirmed for Summerslam for the United States Championship. This will be a rematch from Extreme Rules, where Nakamura won the Title in only a few seconds.
I think it is pretty obvious that Nakamura will be retaining the Title. He just won the belt and I think he is going to go on a lengthy run as Champion. While saying that, I think the talking point of this match is going to be what Randy Orton does to Jeff Hardy. I could see Orton completely dismantling Jeff during the match since he promised to retire him. This would set up Jeff vs Orton for the next PPV event.
Nakamura retains the Title and moves on to a new feud. Hardy vs Orton gets set up for the next PPV event.

7) Dolph Ziggler (with Drew McIntyre) vs Seth Rollins (with Dean Ambrose) – WWE Intercontinental Championship
Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Title has been officially confirmed for Summerslam. This should be another good match between these two. I think that they will both have a chip on their shoulder after the crowd reaction at Extreme Rules. That means they will both try to steal the show at Summerslam to prove how good they really are.
The dynamic of the match has completely changed with Dean Ambrose back and in the corner of Seth. This makes things very interesting. I have seen some people suggesting that Dean will turn on Seth here. Personally, I don’t think that will happen for a few months. There is still plenty of stories to tell with Seth and Dean on the same side.
My gut says that Seth Rollins will be walking out as Intercontinental Champion.
Official Prediction: Seth wins the Title.
