WWE World Cup 2018 Predictions: 20 Countries That Could Be Represented

14) Ireland – Finn Balor

I think there is a good chance that Ireland could be represented in the WWE World Cup tournament. The two top candidates would be Finn Balor or Sheamus. Either guy would work well in this spot.

I am going to give the nod to Balor in this spot though. Balor would be a favorite to win too.

13) Italy – Fabian Aichner

Another longshot could be Fabian Aichner representing his home country of Italy. For those who don’t know, Aichner is a member of the NXT roster but doesn’t appear too often on Television.

Aichner is billed from South Tyrol, Italy and would work if WWE wanted.

12) Japan – Shinsuke Nakamura

Japan will probably be represented in this tournament if I had to guess. There would be no better candidate than current United States Champion and Japanese star Shinsuke Nakamura.

I would put Nakamura as one of my locks for this tournament. Seems like a great fit.

11) Mexico – Andrade Almas

I would LOVE to see Andrade Almas get a massive showcase here. He is the perfect fit to represent Mexico in this type of tournament. Based on the rumors of Vince McMahon being high on him, I could see it happening.

A returning Rey Mysterio could also work here. Andrade Almas is my personal guess though.

10) The Netherlands – Aleister Black

Aleister Black is billed from Amsterdam, Holland. As a result, I think that it would be pretty cool to see him represent the Netherlands in a WWE World Cup tournament.

Black is ready for the main roster (in my opinion), so this could be a nice way to call him up.
