5 Reasons Why Wyatt vs Orton Should Main Event Wrestlemania 33 Over Lesnar vs Goldberg

5) Orton And Wyatt Will Both Be On WWE TV The Weeks After

One of the biggest reasons why we strongly believe that Wyatt and Orton should be the main event over Goldberg and Lesnar is that they are going to be around in the weeks after Wrestlemania 33.

This has to do with the ‘New Era’ that we were talking about earlier. There is no question that Lesnar and Goldberg have the higher star-power but they won’t be around (as much or if at all) when it comes to after Wrestlemania. Lesnar will be working limited dates and Goldberg will likely be retiring.

Bray and Orton on the other hand are going to be on WWE TV the weeks following Wrestlemania 33 and on all of the live events.

Casual fans that are excited to start watching the WWE product after Wrestlemania are going to be seeing a lot less of Goldberg and Lesnar than they would Orton and Wyatt. If I am a fan tuning into RAW or Smackdown for the first time after watching Wrestlemania, am I going to stick around if I don’t see Goldberg or Lesnar? The two guys who WWE told me were the most important on the night of Wrestlemania. I am not sure if I would stick around if I didn’t even see them on the show.

On the other hand, that same fan will see that Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton are big deals and will want to follow them on weekly television to see what happens next.

It might seem silly, but it could help from a business standpoint to create new fans.

Thank you for reading. Let us know what you think. I don’t want to sound like I am bashing Goldberg vs Lesnar because I am actually excited for the match. I just think it would be better for WWE if the match between Wyatt and Orton went on last.
