Apollo Crews

Apollo Crews is a weird one because he has so much talent but WWE brought him up to the main roster before he was ready.

Crews is incredible in the ring but essentially came to the main roster without having much of a character. As a result, fans didn’t exactly rally behind him after he was called up back in April. Several months later, we haven’t seen him too much on Smackdown LIVE and he generally wrestles on WWE Main Event.

As an in-ring talent, Crews is very exciting to watch. He can fly through the air and do things that someone his size shouldn’t be able to. He is extremely fun to watch and I would find it hard for someone to argue against that.

Here are some highlights of his RAW debut back in April where he showed off his incredible athleticism:

I personally think they plucked him out of NXT too soon and should have taken their time to build him up. Now that he is on the main roster, he is in a bit of no-mans land. Due to his in-ring talent he is spending a lot of times wowing the crowd at live events but not on tv due to his lack of character.

WWE needs to spend some time building him up so he can be used properly on Smackdown LIVE every week. Maybe turn him heel and give him a bit of an edge?
