Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder has had quite the rollercoaster of a WWE career. Can’t find a better example of this then at Wrestlemania 32 where he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a 7-man ladder match.

The next night on RAW, Ryder lost the title to the Miz, ending his reign in less than 24 hours. Ryder fell back down to WWE obscurity after an incredible moment at Wrestlemania.
Ryder is now currently one half of the ‘Hype Bros’ alongside Mojo Rawley on Smackdown LIVE. The team has been getting a lot of TV time but most fans know that the team is probably never going to win the tag team titles. They will be a good duo to energize the crowd at live events and certainly have their place in WWE but it likely has a ceiling.
The problem is that Zack Ryder is being wasted in this team. Wrestlemania 32 showed us that fans want to cheer and get behind him. He has also gotten over in the past, only to be pushed back down the card. It seems like WWE wants nothing to do with him having success as a singles competitor.
I am happy that Ryder has found a permanent place in WWE as a member of the Hype Bros but I can’t help to wonder if he would be more successful as a singles star.
Use the buttons below for the next WWE star that is being wasted!!
The Vaudevillians. They come out, and get knocked out pretty much immediately, dont even see them in any promos lately.
Maybe I’m alone in that one though, and im fine with that if I am
