15 Bold 2018 WWE Guesses

As we head into 2018, we thought that we would predict some big things that will happen. Whether it be signings, debuts, returns or title victories, we took a flier on what WWE television will look like next year. Here are some of our bold 2018 guesses.

1) Braun Strowman Will Go To Smackdown After Wrestlemania 34

I don’t know if WWE is going to do a Superstar Shake-up again or if they will do a full WWE draft to split up the brands. Regardless of what happens, I predict Braun Strowman goes to Smackdown Live in 2018.

Why do I say that? I feel as if Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns need to split up. I voted them as my feud of the year in 2017 but I think that it would be best for them to stay apart for the next year. I don’t want to see anymore Braun vs Roman matches right now.

Roman will likely be winning the WWE Universal Title at Wrestlemania 34 against Brock Lesnar. As a result, it makes sense for Braun to go to Smackdown Live. We predict that Braun will move to Smackdown Live in 2018 and will also become a major part of the brand.

2) WWE Introduces Women’s Tag Team Titles

Women’s wrestling has seen some major progress over the past few years. We have seen history-making matches like the first ever Women’s Hell in a Cell and Money in the Bank matches. In 2018, we will be seeing the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match.

So what will be next? We are going to guess that 2018 is the year that WWE introduces Women’s Tag Team Titles.

It was teased by Lita a few months ago that the idea was at least being discussed by WWE. With the influx of new talent coming to the main roster, we have to guess that WWE will add another title for them to fight over.

I have heard arguments for and against the idea of a tag team division for the Women of WWE. I think that it will happen in 2018.

3) The Miz Gets A World Title Run

2017 was an awesome year for the Miz. He earned a lot of respect, including being named Rolling Stone’s Superstar of the Year.

I think that in 2018, we will see the Miz get another World Title run. I am not sure yet if that will be for the WWE Title or the WWE Universal Title but I think that it could happen.

The Miz has been a loyal company man for many years and I think that he could be rewarded in 2018. Maybe it won’t be a lengthy run, but I think that it could happen.
