15 Bold 2018 WWE Guesses

13) Asuka’s Undefeated Streak Will End

Asuka hasn’t lost a match in almost two years now. She has put together an incredibly impressive undefeated streak in both her time in NXT and on the WWE main roster.

I think that she will finally lose a match in 2018. I don’t think it will be wasted though, I think that she is going to lose in a huge match with a major build-up. Maybe she will lose to someone like Sasha Banks at Summerslam after several months of a build? Maybe it will be an underdog who finally conquers the unbeatable Asuka?

Undefeated streaks can’t last forever and I think that it will end in 2018. Hopefully, WWE books it the right way so it isn’t wasted.

14) A Member Of The New Day Wins A Singles Title

The New Day has accomplished about everything you can in the tag team division. It is time for them to move on to something fresh in my opinion.

I think that it could be fun for one of the members of the New Day to win a singles title. They could book it so that they ‘Freebird’ the title. This means if say Big E wins the WWE Title, all 3 members hold it.

I think it could make for a fun dynamic and I would like to see it happen in 2018. I doubt it would be for the WWE Title but you never know.

15) Bayley Will Bounce Back After Her Horrendous Booking In 2017

If you read my awards for the worst in 2017, you know that I gave a hard time to WWE for ruining the character of Bayley. This came mostly from her horrendous feud with Alexa Bliss. It has gotten to the point where some fans are booing Bayley. This is the same person who was loved by almost everybody when she was in NXT.

I think that in 2018 will see Bayley bounce back from her poor booking. She is very talented and has the potential to be a major draw with the younger generation of female fans. I really don’t think that WWE will want to continue to bury her.

I am going to say that Bayley will be moved to Smackdown Live in the next Superstar Shake-Up. From here, she will proceed to showcase her in-ring ability and will end up back to where she was pre-2017. Maybe wishful-thinking but WWE really needs to rebuild her in 2018.
