Before all of the Roman Reigns haters start attacking me, hear me out. I’m not a fan of Roman Reigns the character. I do feel like he will be the next John Cena, and to be honest, he is the right man for the job. He has the look, and can put on great matches. One of them being with Finn Bálor.
The #1 Contendership match on Raw to face Seth Rollins for the Universal title was a great match. Both men have the athleticism, and their styles clash very well. Reigns has the ability to work like a monster, a destroyer, which would make Finn Bálor look like the underdog.
It is basic storytelling, but both men can get the job done. I do not look at Finn Bálor as a mid card talent, he is a wrestler that is main event caliber. This would be a nice, smooth transition back to the top of RAW.
