Two of NXT’s biggest stars colliding in a one on one match on WWE’s flagship show. That sounds good doesn’t it? Sami Zayn’s biggest match so far on the main roster has been “The Final Chapter” between him and Kevin Owens.
These two men put on a match that is worthy of a “Match of the Year” candidate spot, and it goes to show how athletically gifted Sami Zayn is, and he can put on quite a show. Finn Bálor has put on some great matches during his time in NXT, and as I mentioned previously, he put on a great match against Roman Reigns, proving that he can hang on the main roster.
After his program with Braun Strowman, Sami will need to be put in a program to keep his momentum on the main roster. Finn Bálor, returning from injury, will need to recondition and get used to the ropes once again, although I feel like it would seem like he wouldn’t have any ring rust. The program between these two would be nothing more than two gifted wrestlers putting on a show for the fans. I believe many people would pay to see these two go at it.
