4) Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have been involved in one of the best storylines of WWE in 2017 (in my opinion). Unfortunately, Dean is currently injured and it is unclear how long he will miss.
As a result, Seth has moved up on our list of potential 2018 Royal Rumble winners.
Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins still have some unfinished business from what happened at Wrestlemania 31. Seth cashed in his Money in the Bank contract, stealing the title from Brock in an awesome moment. This would be an easy storyline for WWE to go back to if they wanted.
It was rumored that we could see a Rollins vs Brock match for the title in 2017 but it didn’t happen. Seth has been busy with the Shield reunion storyline over the past few months.
Seth vs Brock could be a fun match for the event and I think there is a chance that it happens.
3) Samoa Joe
It has been a pretty solid start to the WWE career for Samoa Joe. He has impressed in both NXT and on the main roster. Maybe he will add Royal Rumble winner to his resume?
WWE seems to be very high on him and he excelled in his match against Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire. Joe proved that he can hang with the biggest and baddest on the roster.
I think Joe will be a candidate to walk away as the winner this year. If Brock is still holding the belt by Wrestlemania, I wouldn’t mind seeing a rematch between them.
Watch out for Joe when the Rumble happens as I think he is a legitimate candidate to walk away as the winner.
