We are getting close to Wrestlemania 34 and the card is already filling up. The past few Wrestlemania’s have featured three matches on the pre-show and we have to assume that this will be the case again this year.

Now the question is, which matches will be on this year’s kickoff show? Let’s speculate a little bit here.
– I am about 99% sure that the Women’s Battle Royal [WWE’s statement on the name change here] will be on the pre-show for the event. The match will be a good way to get female talent on the card who would otherwise be left off. I expect this to be opening match of the night.
– The second match that I think will be on the kickoff show is the finals of the Cruiserweight Title tournament. The stars of 205 Live are not appearing much on weekly episodes of RAW (if at all). I think that is a sign that the match will be on the kickoff show. It should be a really good match but I would be surprised if it isn’t on the pre-show of the event. Speaking of this match, here is who we think will be in the finals.
– Now the third match is a bit tricky and could go in a variety of directions. In my Wrestlemania 34 predictions article [read that here], I chose the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. I am going to double-down and say that it will be the third and final kickoff match like it was last year. It might be a bit overkill to have two battle royals on the pre-show but I think it fits better than putting it randomly on the main card.
