14 Bold Predictions For WWE Summerslam 2018

Below are 14 of our bold predictions for Summerslam.

14) Rusev and Lana Will Officially Split With Aiden English

The Summerslam Kickoff show will feature a mixed tag team match. Rusev and Lana will take on Andrade Almas and Zelina Vega. These four have been feuding for the past few weeks on Smackdown Live.

I think that Rusev and Lana will lose after Aiden English accidentally costs them the match. After the match, we will see Rusev and Lana officially split up with Aiden. We might even see Rusev attack Aiden out of frustration.

This will set us up for Aiden English vs Rusev at Hell in a Cell next month.

13) A Title Will Change Hands On The Kickoff Show

There are two Championship matches set for the Summerslam kickoff show. The B Team will defend their RAW Tag Team belts against The Revival. Cedric Alexander will also defend his Cruiserweight Championship against Drew Gulak.

I could see the Revival becoming the new Raw Tag Team Champions here. To me, the B Team seems more like transitional Champions and I don’t see them having too long of a title reign. It wouldn’t shock me for it to happen already. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Drew Gulak become the new Cruiserweight Champion. I wouldn’t mind seeing a change and something fresh for that division.

We don’t often see Titles change hands on kickoff shows but I have a feeling that we will see a Title change before the main card of the event even starts.

12) Kevin Owens Will Win The Money In The Bank Briefcase From Braun Strowman (Early In The Show)

Braun Strowman will be putting his Money in the Bank contract on the line against Kevin Owens. The stipulation is that if Owens wins the match, even by disqualification or count-out, he wins the contract.

I think that Owens is going to get attacked by someone random on the roster, which means he wins the Title by disqualification. This protects Strowman since he doesn’t have to get pinned.

My gut is telling me that Owens is taking control of that briefcase.
