2) There Will Be At Least 4 Title Changes
I think that Summerslam is going to see a lot of Title changes. I am going out on a limb and saying that we will see at least 4 belts change hands throughout the night.
Let’s take a look at some of the matches that we think are the favorites to see Title changes:
- Ronda Rousey defeating Alexa Bliss to win the RAW Women’s Championship.
- Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship from Carmella.
- Two potential Title changes for the Universal Championship. Roman Reigns wins the Title from Brock Lesnar and gets cashed in on by either Braun Strowman or Kevin Owens.
There are also several more Title matches on the card that could see surprise changes. My gut says that we will see at least 4 title changes at Summerslam. For reference, Extreme Rules only saw 2 Titles change hands.
1) Summerslam Will Be Considered The Best PPV Of 2018 (So Far)
I have a feeling that Summerslam is going to be considered as the best PPV event of 2018 [so far] after it is over.
I know some fans are complaining about seeing Brock vs Reigns for the 100th time but I still think the card is solid. Joe vs Styles should be great. The Miz vs Daniel Bryan should be great. Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler both have something to prove after the crowd crapped on them at Backlash. Don’t rule out any surprises either like a return or a cash-in either. There are plenty of elements here that could make for a fun show.
My guess is that Summerslam delivers.
