Worst Match of The Year

Our Winner: Kendo Stick On A Pole Match

I think most wrestling fans know that ‘on a pole’ matches aren’t often received well. No different was the ‘kendo stick on a pole’ match between Alexa Bliss and Bayley at Extreme Rules.

I absolutely hated this match from start to finish. The rules were confusing and it wasn’t anything that fans wanted to see.

Not to mention how poorly this match made Bayley look. The match completely killed Bayley’s momentum, something that she hasn’t been able to get back just yet.

Overall, an awful match.

Honorable Mention: Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton: House Of Horrors. I really don’t blame you if you picked the House of Horrors as your worst match of the year. It was a close second for me.

Worst Celebrity Segment

Our Winner: The Ball Family Come To Monday Night RAW

Not sure who thought that it would be a good idea to invite the Ball Family to Monday Night RAW.  Lavar, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball were involved in a wild Miz TV segment back in June.

The segment went as expected: a complete disaster.

Lavar Ball took his shirt off at one point. LaMelo Ball used some inappropriate language on the show, saying “beat that n—a ass” on live television. This caused WWE to release a statement saying:

“The inappropriate language used by a guest during the ‘Miz TV’ segment was not scripted nor reflects WWE’s values,”

I doubt they will be invited back anytime soon.

Honorable Mention: I can’t think of any that come close.
