“Less Is More” – 3 Ways WWE Can Improve The Quality Of Their Programming

2. Bring 2 Hour Monday Night RAW’s Back

Since the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW, the show has been 3 hours every single week. This was an idea that people thought would only last a year, but it’s been going strong for 4 years now, but maybe going strong isn’t the right word.

Triple H said on the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast that he would want to change RAW and bring it back to 2 hours. He admitted that the third hour of RAW is the hardest to write, and he said that he “can’t even begin to describe” how difficult it is to do.

Just as it’s difficult to write, it’s difficult to watch. The show is full with filler matches and storylines just to keep the showing going for 3 hours.

It’s a fair enough complaint that 3 hours is a pretty long show, but it’s an even worse complaint when the third hour that gets stapled on isn’t even good.

I bet that having a third hour of RAW gets them more money and barely costs anything, so I see them not changing this in the future, but we can all agree that 2 hours would be much prefered.
