My Take: I would be shocked if Cena doesn’t end up playing some sort of role at the event. I could see him involved in a legends segment or something but I am not sure about a match.
7) The Undertaker’s Status At Wrestlemania 35
Over the past few weeks, there have been plenty of rumors about the Undertaker and his Wrestlemania status. As of writing this, he still doesn’t have a match scheduled for the event.
The Undertaker is reportedly confirmed for WWE’s upcoming event in Saudi Arabia. This tells us that he is not officially retired. The Deadman has also been spotted in New York for Wrestlemania 35 weekend.
My Take: The Undertaker seems like a prime candidate for some sort of surprise appearance at Wrestlemania 35. I am going to guess that we will see him in some capacity at the event.
6) Is Dean Ambrose Leaving WWE Or Is It A Work?
A bombshell of a report dropped recently that said Dean Ambrose asked for his release from WWE. This was later confirmed by WWE, who issued a statement saying that Dean was leaving the company in April.
The big question from fans is whether or not Dean leaving WWE is a work. There are some who believe that Dean is really leaving. There are also those who think that this is an elaborate storyline where Dean won’t end up leaving in the end.
The situation is definitely weird. WWE rarely addresses contract issues with Superstars. It is even rarer for them to confirm that someone is leaving a few months before their contract expires. They have been constantly bringing up Dean’s contract expirng on TV, which has caused fans to question his departure even further.
If he does go, this would be a major loss for WWE. He has been a staple of WWE TV for several years now. He has also been the company’s ironman, typically wrestling the most matches per year.
My Take: With Dean not having a match at Wrestlemania, I am leaning towards him leaving. Never say never though in this business.
