2) Why Charlotte Flair Was Added To The RAW Women’s Championship Match At Wrestlemania 35
Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey has been officially confirmed for the Wrestlemania 35 card. According to a report, Charlotte was added into this match because Ronda is taking time off after Wrestlemania 35. WWE doesn’t want one-half of their Wrestlemania main event off television after the event is over.
Adding Charlotte into the mix leaves WWE with two members of their Wrestlemania main event still on weekly television after the event is over.
To add to this, a rumor making the rounds is that WWE booked the triple threat match in case that one of these ladies got hurt on the road to Wrestlemania 35. If so, they would have had an easily fallback plan into a singles match.
My Take: I understand it from a business standpoint. I would have preferred Becky vs Ronda though as I am sure many others would have.
1) The Main Event Setting Up A Match At Wrestlemania 36?
One of the most interesting things to watch out for will be the finish of the main event.
A rumor suggests that the finish of the match between Ronda, Becky, and Charlotte will be setting up a potential singles match at Wrestlemania 36. It is teased that the plan is to come out of this match with a clear direction for next year’s Wrestlemania
My Take: My own speculation is that it will be Becky pinning Ronda to win the RAW & Smackdown Women’s Championships. Ronda takes time off after Wrestlemania 35 and doesn’t return until the end of 2019/ early 2020. Ronda returns and reignites her feud with Becky. This sets us up for Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 36. That is the only thing that I can think of right now that would make sense.
That sounds like it would be pretty darn good to me.
